My Mission

My mission is to help preserve and conserve artifacts, ensuring that museums can continue to showcase these treasures in the future. I believe museums serve as vital repositories of history and must strive to convey accurate narratives about the past, even when addressing complex subjects or truths such as vaccines or evolution.

My Vision

My vision is to preserve and tell stories of the past through objects. I want to advocate for repatriating problematic artifacts from museum collections. Everyone deserves a voice, and I will strive to help underrepresented voices worldwide by advocating for community collaboration.

Preservation/Conservation

Although challenging, I believe in balancing preservation and conservation with public access to collections. I understand that preservation involves unique considerations for different artifacts and cultural groups. Ethics, community collaboration, best museum practices, legal issues, new scientific methods, collection usage, storage, exhibitions, and education are crucial in informing preservation versus conservation efforts.
